Il Giardino is a 3-5 minute walk from the main piazza in the center of Montalcino (clock tower) and might be missed by visitors who are shopping. However, the locals know (as well as wine and food lovers) that this restaurant is serving up great local dishes with a special flare.
This is one of the few restaurants in town that offers older vintages of Brunello di Montalcino wines at reasonable prices.
The menu is well rounded with enough choices for everyone to find something which they can enjoy. Portions are perfect, not too much food, which is a standard in Montalcino. Fresh ingredients and fine wine, make Il Giardino one of the places we love to come back to.

Il Giardino also has one of the best wine lists in Montalcino for older vintages of Brunello di Montalcino wines. The restaurant is located on the north end of the city and you will be glad that you booked, if you have a few days to enjoy the food in the city walls.
