The connection of the Biondi-Santi and Tamanti Family Tree

Maria Tamanti married Clemente Santi, and their daughter Caterina later married Jacopo Biondi.  Jacopo and Caterina’s son Ferruccio later decided to change his last name to Biondi-Santi to honor his mother’s family name. The Biondi-Santi family later become of the early pioneers of Brunello di Montalcino wines.
